[comments] about creative pd1001 webcam

Hi! I was reading your howto compile kernel on redhat 9, and i found:

"I had to do this to patch a fresh kernel for running my Creative Webcam 
(Model # PD1001.)."

Did your webcam pd1001 work "fine" on linux?

Some time ago, I patched my kernel with epcam patch. My kernel recognise 
well my webcam, but any program can get any image with it.

(I have this component on kernel and not like a module)

I'll agree if you can help me.
