FYI:

You can access the ECE servers from your home to conduct most of your 
experiments. Here are a few methods only for people using Windows:

1. Download the SSH toolkit from the link below
ftp://ftp.uic.edu/pub/othersoftware/ssh/SSHWinSecureShell-3.1.1.exe

2. Install on your windows machine.

3. Start the SSH secure client, which can be found as:
Start->Programs->SSH secure Shell--> SSH secure Client

4. The above will open a small window and you should see a link to "Quick 
Connect"

5. When u click on this, a small window will open. Enter the hostname as
bert.ece.uic.edu or ernie.ece.uic.edu

Your userID and password.
