[linux] Some important Sites..

Here are a few URL's that a newbie must read for Linux.

 

1. http://www.redhat.com/support/resources/howto/rhl72.html

At this site , at the bottom there are three Guides..

Read them as in order

a. Getting started Guide.. --> good for beginers nstalling linux.

b. Linux Customization guide.. -> good for intermdeiate

c. Reference Guide --> good for kernel hacking (i guess)

 

 

2. http://www.ecst.csuchico.edu/~dranch/LINUX/TrinityOS/cHTML/TrinityOS-c.html

Author Dave Ranch has given a log of the things he faced.. Bit like what i intend to keep.. But his is very comprehensive.
