Here is a whole site dedicated to easter eggs.. I was succesfull in getting
the racing car easter egg in Excel 2000.
Here are the inst.

The
 Open Excel 2000
- Select 'Save as Web Page...' on the 'File' menu
- On the dialog click the 'Publish...' button
- On the next dialog select 'Add interactivity with:'
- Leave 'Spreadsheet functionality' in the associated combo box
- Select 'Open published web page in browser' (assumes IE is default
browser)
- Click the 'Publish' button

You should now have 'Page.htm' open in Internet Explorer.

- Click on cell A1
- Scroll right until column WC is the left most column
- Leave cursor in the right most column (seems to make a difference)
- Scroll down using 'Page Down' key until you can see row 2000
- Click on the row indicator (this will select the entire row)
- Hold down SHIFT+CTRL+ALT
- While still holding them down click on the Office logo
- NOTE: logo is in upper left corner of spreadsheet
